Choosing who builds your app is one of the most important decisions you’ll make. Here’s how to tell a great partner from a risky one.
What to look for
- A real portfolio of shipped products. Apps that actually launched — ask to see case studies.
- Design and development under one roof. One team accountable, no costly hand-offs.
- GCC market understanding. Local payment gateways (KNET, Apple Pay) and Arabic / RTL support matter.
- Clear communication. You should always know what’s being built, why, and when.
- Post-launch support. Launch is the start, not the end.
Questions worth asking
- Can I see apps you’ve launched and try them?
- Who owns the code and accounts — me or you?
- How do you handle changes and feedback during the build?
- What happens after launch — updates, fixes, support?
Red flags
Be cautious of anyone who quotes a complex app with no discovery, promises unrealistic timelines, can’t show shipped work, or is vague about who owns the code. We’ve shipped 100+ products across six countries since 2015 — tell us about your project.
