Connect Here reimagines social networking around physical places. Walk into a café, restaurant or bar and the app shows who else is checked in — so you can browse profiles, send a request and start a conversation with people in the same room. We designed and built the full product, end to end, for iOS and Android.
Turning a “who’s here right now” idea into something people trust takes careful UX. The product needed real-time presence, clear consent and privacy, and a check-in flow simple enough to use the moment you sit down — making nearby discovery feel inviting rather than intrusive.
We crafted a focused, dark interface around three core flows — find a venue, see who’s checked in, and connect & chat — with rich profile cards, connection requests and in-venue messaging. The apps were built natively for iOS and Android and shipped to both the App Store and Google Play.
